About Us

Mission Statement: Our goal is to provide a solution for windowless walls. Our products are about quality woodworking, thoughtful engineering, and an authentic window view. We will accommodate custom requests to assure that our customers get exactly what they want.

Affordable Views were designed and are constructed by Robert Renick. Robert spent 10 years in the San Francisco bay area building traditional wood windows and doors under the name, “Comfyfoot Glass and Sash”. Having replicated hundreds of wood windows with many types of glass, wood, and hardware, Robert knows wood windows.

To build an affordable view window frame Robert starts with about 8 board feet of lumber which will encounter 17 different woodworking tools to become 21 uniquely shaped and sized parts. These wood parts are combined with hardware from 9 different purveyors and then assembled with about 59 screws of 8 different types, and of course, good old glue and clamps. Once assembled and finished the frame is placed in and among 7 different packaging products, one of which is a UPS label, and off it goes.

Below is a gallery of some custom woodwork, including some doors and windows, built by Robert Renick.
